The word is out! Afangaro is seen in the new January issue of ELLE Magazine BE, online and in print. Rénette Sastrowidjojo, the founder of the label, describes in an intimate interview with ELLE why Afangaro is more than a lifestyle and will contribute to making Rotterdam the next fashion city of Europe.
Afangaro is a philosophy. Rénette works with several core values that make the brand unique. The focus lies on collaboration, perseverance, and her own cultural roots. As a female with Indonesian and Surinamese roots, she uses her culture as a big inspiration source for her designs. Each garment is designed according to her interpretation of freedom and how women can look and feel confident in their own skin.
